WakeStorm Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 26, 2026

WakeStorm is designed to keep your alarm data on your device. This policy explains what the app processes and when limited purchase information is handled by a service provider.

Data stored on your device

WakeStorm stores alarm and timer schedules, labels, settings, heart balances, wake statistics, routine progress, and optional emergency-contact text locally. The app and its widget share some of this information through an Apple App Group so they can stay in sync.

Motion and fitness data

When you use movement to stop an alarm or timer, WakeStorm reads step and distance data from Apple's motion APIs. This data is processed on your device to confirm movement. WakeStorm does not transmit or retain raw motion samples off your device.

Purchases

Apple processes payments for WakeStorm subscriptions and lifetime access. RevenueCat processes purchase history and entitlement status so the app can unlock Pro features, restore purchases, and provide purchase analytics. WakeStorm uses an anonymous RevenueCat app user identifier and does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, phone number, contacts, advertising identifier, or social-media account.

Data WakeStorm does not collect

WakeStorm does not include advertising, social login, contact access, location tracking, third-party analytics, or a third-party crash-reporting service. Alarm labels, schedules, motion samples, emergency-contact text, and wake history are not transmitted by the app.

Backups and deletion

Backup files are created only when you choose to export them and are saved to a location you select. You can delete WakeStorm's locally stored data by removing the app. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide and restore purchases and to meet legal obligations.

Tracking

WakeStorm does not track you across apps or websites and does not sell personal data.
